Microsoft, Doosan Mobility Innovation Sign Agreement to Develop Solutions for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Drones
In order to achieve synergy by combining technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), we will target the market together by developing and co-selling drone software and monitoring solutions.
Through this, Doosan Group plans to carry out digital transformation in the hydrogen fuel cell business, the new growth engine of Doosan Group, and increase its competitiveness in the industrial drone market, which is expected to grow by about 8 trillion and 500 billion won by 2025.

The collaboration will enable Microsoft to leverage advanced solutions such as Azure IoT, machine learning, and AI. Utilizing high energy density hydrogen fuel cell technology, DMI's hydrogen fuel cell drones can fly for 2 hours, and when Azure IoT Hub is applied, it connects to billions of devices to collect and analyze vast data information. This is possible.
For example, a drone-mounted camera enables precise shots of hundreds of thousands of panels in one flight and maps hundreds of captured images into one to diagnose defects in the solar panel through Azure machine learning and take action in real-time. Give an alarm to take. In addition, it provides a dashboard for real-time monitoring of vital information such as drone's hydrogen level, consumption output, battery charge status, temperature, etc. through Azure IoT service, helping to efficiently maintain and manage solar power plants.
In addition, Microsoft's most advanced technologies, such as Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Web App, and Azure Function, include public, manufacturing, infrastructure, and mining technologies. And various industries such as construction site management, enrichment industry, logistics, and distribution.
