Our lineup includes 3 products, each satisfying a different need of our customers. DF20, which is a drone developed by Doosan Mobility Innovation, is a product that is optimized for the performance of the fuel cell powerpack. It can carry any payload that the developer or expert wants.
DT20 is a powerpack-integrated drone optimized for unfavorable industrial sites. With its strong durability, it has the best power output.
If you use the DP20 M600 kit, you can equip DJI M600, the most widely used commercial drone model in the world, with the powerpack.
The flight time of a fuel cell drone is upto 120 minutes but it can be varied depending on payloads and models.
While an ordinary drone can fly for only 20 to 30 minutes, a fuel cell-powered drone can fly much longer, which means it can be used in a wider variety of operations compared to a battery-powered drone, whose usage is limited. We recommend equipping a payload of an appropriate weight for a stable operation and flight performance of the drone.
The maximum flight altitude is generally 150m unless it is a no-fly zone.
Moreover, if you obtain a separate flight approval from the relevant authorities, the maximum altitude can be increased to 800m.
The general flight control distance is 2km from the controller. However, there is no limit for LTE-controlled drones.
In general, you cannot use LTE or the communications environment is unstable in industrial sites in the US. Is it still possible to operate a drone in a stable manner?
LTE is just one example of the communications method. You can choose another method that suits your environment.
When hovering, it can endure upto 8m/s wind. We recommend that you avoid operating your drone in an extremely windy environment for a safe drone flight experience.
The powerpack (DP20) and DT20 of Doosan Mobility Innovation both have an IP22 waterproof rating, and the company plans to obtain an IP23 rating in 2019 by improving its products. But in principle, you should not operate a drone when there is heavy rain or snow.
Wind, oil, and gas generation sites are often located near shorelines. Is it possible to operate a drone when the atmosphere includes a high sodium content or when there is fog?
Fog is not a problem, and sodium is also not an issue unless you pour salt water directly into the electrical parts of the drone.
The fuel cell powerpack comes with a filter. You will not have any problem if you appropriately maintain your filter according to your climate.
It is possible to check the real-time images filmed using your drone through the controller screen (on your smartphone). It is also possible to save videos and do a print screen of the image you are watching in real time.
