Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) participated in the Commercial UAV Expo for 3 days from the 15th to the 17th. This year's exhibition was held virtually in the aftermath of COVID-19.

The Commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Exhibition is one of the three largest drone exhibitions in the United States held in Las Vegas, and is planned to focus on the integration and operation of commercial drones used in various fields such as construction, energy, forestry, and agriculture. This year, more than 50 famous drone companies such as DMI, DJI and Skydio participated in the virtual event.

At the exhibition, DMI introduced the DS30Pst, a new model that improved the existing DS30 to Pixhawk version for the first time. The open source-based DS30Pst model can be easily operated by amateurs with low cost and availability, and there is no communication distance limits through the DMI's own LTE-based Ground Control Station (GCS). It is expected to be used for various commercial purposes.

In addition, DMI CEO Doo-Soon Lee participated as a panel in the Drone Industry Visionaries session. The session was held in a real-time Q&A with Kenneth Stewart, CEO of AirXOS, Barry Alexander, CEO of Aquiline drones, David Hansell, regulator of Rune LLC, and Ed De Reyes, CEO of Sabrewing Aircraft. At the session, CEO Doo-soon Lee said, “The biggest technological innovation in the drone industry over the past year is that it is possible to fly long distances by integrating hydrogen fuel cells, LTE, and AI. We also need to focus on providing the solution sought out by end-users.”

In addition, DMI provided a variety of contents such as Outdoor Flying Demo and Company Spotlight at the online booth, attracting the attention of visitors.

Meanwhile, from the 13th to the 15th, DMI participated in the '2020 Shenzhen Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone) Expo', the largest drone exhibition in China, for 3 days and carried out marketing strengthening activities in China.
