DMI achieved Standards Australian certificate for hydrogen cylinders
2021.03.31
Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) obtained the approvals for its hydrogen cylinder from SafeWork Victoria & New South Wales. It allows setting a nationwide hydrogen distribution network in Australia for its fuel cell-powered drones.
DMI has developed a fuel cell-powered drone solution with a long endurance flight time of over two hours, designed for applications such as inspection, search and rescue, mining and construction, agriculture, logistics, aid delivery and numerous others. To launch this tremendous product in certain area, hydrogen supplying network is essential infrastructure and a certified cylinder itself is crucial part of it.
DMI has partnered with couple of cylinder manufacturers for several years to develop and get certified this new cylinder. Now, this approval is the fourth official approval for DMI, followed by approval from Korean Gas Safety (KGS), the European Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED) and the United States Department of Transportation (DoT).
DMI will make continuous investments and efforts to expand its service area worldwide.
