DMI Participates in GITEX 2021 with Etisalat
2021.10.17
Doosan Mobility Innovation participated in the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) Global 2021, which started on October 17th and ended on the 21st in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, GITEX attracts more than 4,000 companies and 140,000 buyers each year. Despite the COVID-19, the 41st GITEX gathered 3,500 exhibitors from over 140 countries in drones, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.
Having exhibited the 1st generation of the fuel cell powerpack (DP30) and the hydrogen drone (DS30), DMI displayed its 2nd generation model, the strengthened DS30W and DP30M2S with broader temperature range. DS30W can withstand steadily in 12m/s wind and sudden gust of 15m/s, and DP30M2S operates between -5 to 40 Celsius. With the two combined, the hydrogen drone is expected to show stable performance even in Middle East’s hot and windy climate.
This year, DMI also brought another drone to the stand, the world’s first hydrogen VTOL DJ25 that can fly for more than 6 hours with 1 hydrogen tank. DJ25 was co-developed with JOUAV, one of best VTOL manufacturers in the world, using DMI’s hydrogen fuel cell as the engine.
Etisalat, one of the main sponsors of the exhibition and the largest telecommunication company in the Middle East, invited Doosan Mobility Innovation’s hydrogen drones and Doosan Robotics’ surgery robot to showcase these new and exciting technologies.
