Doosan Mobility Innovation partners with CubePilot
2021.12.22
Doosan Mobility Innovation joint with CubePilot Pty. Ltd. has launched a new artwork of CubePilot Ecosystem Series, Doosan Mobility Zero Emission Vehicle. DMI is continually integrating a variety of accessories and carrier boards to better enhance the customer experience and upgrade the drone's stability.
In 2019, Doosan Mobility Innovation succeeded in developing and commercializing fuel cells for mobile applications such as hydrogen drones for the first time in the world. This year, continued with the theme of eco-friendly technology, Doosan has released the updated DS30W drone with a Cube Orange flight controller inside.
DS30W is powered by DP30M2S, a 100% zero-emission and long endurance hydrogen fuel cell. Both the drone and fuel cell are available separately.
As is known to all, the limited flight time offered by the regular batteries is one of the main challenges in the drone industry. Doosan Mobility Innovation provides the optimal, one in all solution with hydrogen PEMFC (Proton-exchange Membrane Fuel Cells) Technology that has 4 times higher energy than batteries, enabling 2+ hours in automatic mission flight.
In a hydrogen fuel cell, hydrogen molecules are separated by a catalyst into protons and electrons, taking a different path to the cathode. The electrons go through an external circuit and generate a flow of electricity. At last, the protons migrate through the electrolyte to the cathode, where they unite with oxygen and the electrons into water and heat.
As climate change accelerates, renewable energy and sustainability are becoming more important. However, since the hydrogen drone generates only pure water as an emission, it is 100% eco-friendly, enabling the inspection and operation of renewable energy plants, which will soon lead to the growth of the entire renewable energy industry.
Hydrogen fuel cell powered drone with built-in Cube Orange autopilot, provides more capability for pilots to do more over-network and expands sensor compatibility.
CubePilot Pte. Ltd. based out of Moolap, Australia, is a Hex/Proficnc undertaking to provide hardware and embedded software ecosystem for ever-evolving civilian unmanned systems industry.
Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI) is a 100% invested company by Doosan Corporation, and focuses on the mobile applications of fuel cell technology. DMI is heavily investing in UAV applications to enable long-endurance flight, accelerating the growth of the UAV industry.
